Hillier Lake in Western Australia

The pink and lovely Hillier Lake is the only vividly pink lake you will find in the world. The color is permanent and never changes even when the water is removed and placed in a separate container. Its startling color remains a mystery and while scientists have proven it's not due to the presence of algae, unlike the other salt lakes down under, they still can't explain why it's pink.
